In Loving Memory of

Staff Sergeant Asbury Hawn, Jr.

With deepest regret, we announce the death of our fellow brother, Staff Sergeant Asbury Hawn, Jr., age 35 of Lebanon, Tennessee. Assigned to Troop E, 2/278 Regimental Combat Team, Staff Sgt. Hawn leaves behind a loving family, including a wife and two sons, ages 12 and 4. He was an employee at the Nissan manufacturing plant in Smyrna. He enjoyed the Army and thought very highly of it.

Staff Sgt. Hawn will be truly missed. We will always remember his ultimate sacrifice and will honor him proudly. Our hearts are broken and we pray that God will wrap His loving arms around the Hawn family, especially his boys. Staff Sgt. Hawn, you too, will remain our hero and we will forever remain indebted to you for service to our country.
