In Loving Memory of
SPC Paul W. Thomason III
Our brother, Specialist Paul Thomason, a 37-year-old father of four has become the first combat fatality of the 278th Regimental Combat Team from Tennessee. Paul, a specialist fourth class, was a member of Troop G, 2nd Squadron, 278th Regimental Combat Team in Greeneville. Our love and prayers go out to his wife, Amanda and children, Megan, Piper, Asher and Cora. Although many of us did not know Spc. Thomason personally, he served this country along with our family members, and holds a dear and special place in our hearts. We feel as if we have lost a brother, and indeed, he was just that to our soldiers and to us, the families. May the Lord carry his family through this tragedy, may He continue to protect the soldiers of the 278 th RCT, and may He help us all to comfort each other during times of need. Paul, your ultimate sacrifice will not be forgotten…you will live in our hearts forever.
